Matt Robinson is excited to announce that he’ll be making his Newfoundland debut on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 when he reads at venerable St. John’s institution, The Ship (265 Duckworth Street, St. John’s, NL).
The night, hosted by St. John’s Poet Laureate George Murray, will feature ridiculously talented newspaperman / Giller Prize-nominated fiction writer Russell Wangersky, reading from his new story collection, The Path of Most Resistance, as well as Nova Scotia poet Robinson, launching Some Nights It’s Entertainment; Some Other Nights Just Work, his newest collection which was published by Gaspereau Press earlier this Fall. Things are set to begin at 8:00pm, but come early, grab a seat, a bite to eat, something drink, and chat it up with friends at the pub.
Matt will have copies of his books, as well as copies of some limited edition broasides for sale, for thoise who are looking to snag a memento or get a last minute Christmas present taken care of.
This event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
