Matt Robinson will be back in New Brunswick and reading this coming week at Moncton, NB’s long-running reading / musical series: The Attic Owl Reading Series.
As usual, this installment of The Attic Owl will will include both music and readings.
This 3rd and final October edition of the series is scheduled for 6:00pm on THURSDAY, October 27th @ Cafe C’est La Vie (785 Main Street, Moncton, NB).
The night will feature Nova Scotia poet Matt Robinson, launching Some Nights It’s Entertainment; Some Other Nights Just Work (published by Gaspereau Press) and Moncton poet/fiction writer Kayla Geitzler, whose poetry collection, That Light Feeling Under Your Feet, will be published by NeWest in 2018, along with veteran Attic Owl performers Steve Long and Roger Cormier (Bruised Orange).
In addition to the two readers, there will be a draw for two books by Jane Tims, a recent Attic Owl reader. Matt will have copies of his books, as well as broadsides and chapbooks for sale if you feel like adding to your poetry collection!
Music will begin at 6:30, followed by readings, but come early, grab a seat, a bite to eat, something drink, chat it up with friends at wonderful Cafe C’est la Vie. As always, the event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
